The city stood regally around the body of water surrounding it, Lake Rumare, with a single great bridge the only land-based way into the city.
The districts surrounding the White-Gold Tower were arrayed in an ivory circle of stonemasonry, the surrounding walls of each of the six districts representing the spokes of a colossal wheel. Far off into the distance one could observe the towering alabaster spire of the White-Gold Tower in the Imperial City, appearing in size no larger than a thumb from the viewpoint of anyone looking southwest from the top of Jerall’s peaks. The snow-capped peaks of the Jerall Mountains in County Bruma commanded a tremendous view of the surrounding countryside, where mountaineers and travellers braving the cold weather and wild animals, and as of recently daedra could marvel at the sheer scope of the low-lying lands of the central province of Cyrodiil.
